The Heart Savers Instructor Course has been developed to equip instructor candidates with the skills to teach AHA Instructor-led and blended learning courses. As an AHA Instructor, you will have access to the most current emergency cardiovascular care science, course updates, training resources and tools through atlas.heart.org
 
This course offers instructor candidates comprehensive instruction on the effective application of AHA Instructor teaching materials, methods for ensuring students achieve learning objectives, student coaching techniques, objective skills performance evaluations, and adherence to AHA Instructor and course policies. The curriculum includes both core content and discipline-specific content necessary for teaching AHA courses.
 
Note: 
We are ready to begin your Heartsaver Instructor training. However, we highly recommend that you consider taking the BLS Instructor class instead.Obtaining the BLS Instructor certification would allow you to teach both BLS and Heartsaver courses, whereas the Heartsaver Instructor certification only permits you to teach Heartsaver classes.
 
Please let us know which option you would prefer.

Do you have the Heartsaver Total Basic certificate? If you said YES, please select the cheaper option. If you do not have it, please select the second option, which includes an add-on for an additional $60. This will allow us to train you for all necessary skills simultaneously. Additionally, we highly recommend taking the BLS Instructor class instead.
